Piedmont City Council

Jodi Lewis has called Piedmont home since 2004. She has a B.S. in Agribusiness from Oklahoma State University and is pursuing an MBA from Oklahoma City University. Jodi is currently the Executive Director of the Oklahoma Community Institute. Jodi serves as President of the Piedmont Community Foundation, is on the board of governors for the Communities Foundation of Oklahoma, and the board of directors for both the Association of Central Oklahoma Governments and the United Way of Canadian County. She previously served two terms as the Chair of the Piedmont Library and Cultural Events Society and two terms as Secretary of the Redlands Republican Women’s Club. Jodi was recognized in the 2007 addition of OKCBusiness’ “Forty Under 40” and was recently selected for Leaderhship Oklahoma Class XXII. Jodi has been married to David Lewis for nearly two years. David is Area Manager of Express Employment Professionals and the bestselling author of “The Emerging Leader: Eight Lessons for Life in Leadership.”

Brad Coleman has lived in the community for over 17 years and has been in Canadian County for a total of 25 years. He holds associate and masters degrees in political science as well as a bachelor degree in criminal justice. While attending college he served in the Oklahoma Intercollegiate Legislature and completed an internship with the U.S. Marshals Service.

With over a decade of municipal service, Coleman is certified in a variety of areas including emergency management; law enforcement; grant administration; water and sewer operations; building inspections; and floodplain administration. He currently serves on Canadian Co. Chapter of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Board of Directors and is enrolled in the Oklahoma Municipal League Certified Officials program.

John Brown has been a Piedmont resident for the past 11 years. He and his wife of 21 years, Mary, have three children whom all attend Piedmont Schools. John Brown has been an Oklahoma resident since 1968 and has graduated from Northeast High School. He also attended the University of Oklahoma. John has been currently employed by Shelter Insurance Company for the past 25 years winning numerous performance awards. John has always proudly served and represented Piedmont in various Oklahoma Regional Boards and Commissions to include Central Oklahoma Municipal Water Trust, Central Oklahoma Intermodal Transportation Authority, 911 Commission, Associations of Central Oklahoma Governments Board of Director, and Association of Central Oklahoma Government. In addition, he is the Secretary/Treasurer of the Central Oklahoma Water Resources Authority and the President of the Garber Wellington Aquifer Association. John Brown has been a City Councilman since 1998 and has served as Vice Mayor from April 2003 to June 2006.

Donnie J. Robinson has been a resident of Piedmont, Oklahoma for the past 23 years. He has been married to his wife, Janis, for 35 years. Donnie and Janis have raised their four daughters in Piedmont and all of their daughters have graduated from Piedmont High School. Donnie is a lifetime resident of Canadian County graduating from Mustang High School in 1969. He is a Vietnam Veteran serving four years in the United States Navy. Donnie knows the importance of community involvement and has worked with numerous youth groups coaching football, baseball, basketball and fast pitch softball for 29 years. He also has served as President of the Piedmont Sports Authority for several years. Currently, he has been employed by Union Mutual Insurance Company for the past 29 years. Donnie J. Robinson has served on the City of Piedmont City Council for the past six years. Recently, he was elected by the City Council to finish the remaining eight months of Greg Banta's term after his resignation.
