One of my favorite sites of the year in Piedmont is the annual display of the Pumpkin Patch. It marks the beginning of my favorite holiday season. All the bantor about what Halloween is really about aside... I love to SCARE! Hee hee!

It's a real family event for us. We love setting up the decorations and planning out the path to our candy dish. We have a "Fright Path" and a "Fraidy Path". It's so much fun. Plus! Every year, our next door neighbor's brother-in-law comes out dressed as Michael Myers... and he is completely in character all night long. He just follows trick-or-treaters. I have to say, when he comes out to walk through our haunted yards, it is an exciting cul-de-sac.
This year is going to be the best! Windmill Park is organizing a Halloween theme with BOO! grams and all. There will even be a competition. We invite all of Piedmont to come out and take part on Halloween night!
So if you want to get in the spirit of this fabulous fall holiday season, come on out to the Piedmont Service Center Pumpkin Path at 9am on October 4th. You can call 373-4022 for more information. Also, be sure to mark your calendars for the October 25th Craft Show!!
See ya there!
